The Board will annually adopt a calendar that will provide for the following paid holidays for twelve month hourly Employees and school will not be in session, unless unusual circumstances arise and the Board of Education approves otherwise.
For nine month employees:
Staff members will not receive additional compensation for holidays unless they are required to work on such holidays.
Administrators employed on a twelve (12) month contract shall have vacation as provided in their individual contracts. Vacation shall be scheduled in compliance with the Superintendent's guidelines and is subject to Superintendent approval.
All other employees shall have vacation as indicated when employed earning an average of one day per worked with a maximum of 10 paid vacation days. Vacation shall be scheduled in compliance with the Superintendent's guideline and is subject to Superintendent approval.
