The District will not use admission criteria for an educational program, course, or activity that unlawfully restrict access based on a protected characteristic. All classes will be available to students without unlawful discrimination based on a protected characteristic.

This Policy does not prohibit programs lawfully designed to meet the particular needs of students with limited English proficiency, gifted students, students with disabilities, or students with other special needs. Board and staff commitments ensure equal educational opportunities in course offerings, guidance and counseling, test procedures, extracurricular activities, discipline procedures and student support services.
