The school year will be set annually by the Board of Education. The start date, end date, and number of work days will be set by the Board of Education.

The working times for eight (8) hour employees will be set by the administration as needed. The hours for those employees who work less than eight (8) hours are as set by their supervisors.

Regular attendance is essential in providing the support system necessary for maintaining a high quality of instruction. Support staff employees, with reasonable notice, will be subject to disciplinary action when their absenteeism is deemed to be excessive.

Overtime-Compensatory Time

Individuals who begin work earlier or work later than their assigned hours, or need to work over 40 hours in a work week must receive prior authorization from their immediate supervisor as per District regulations.
