Within fourteen (14) days after their election, the newly elected members of the Board shall take the oath of office proscribed by Article VII, Section II, of the Constitution of Missouri, RSMo. Section 162.301(1).

I, Board Member, do solemnly swear that I am at least twenty-four (24) years of age, that I am a citizen of the United States and a resident taxpayer of the Name of School District, in Name of County in the State of Missouri, and that I will support the Constitutions of the United States and of the State of Missouri, and that I will abide by and uphold the Name of School District Board Member Code of Ethics, and will faithfully demean myself in office.
