P 4330 Holidays and Vacation

The Board will annually adopt a calendar that will provide for the following holidays:

      1. Independence Day
      2. Labor Day
      3. Thanksgiving Day
      4. Day after Thanksgiving
      5. Christmas Eve
      6. Christmas Day
      7. New Year’s Eve
      8. New Year’s Day
      9. Memorial Day
      10. Martin Luther King’s Birthday
      11. President’s Day
      12. Good Friday

Exempt employees will not receive additional compensation for holidays unless they are required to work on such holidays.

Non-exempt full time employees employed for twelve months will receive compensation for holidays at their current rate of pay at the time of the holiday.

Vacation

Administrators employed on a twelve (12) month contract shall have vacation as provided in their individual contracts.

Non-certified full-time employees employed for twelve months shall have ten (10) days paid vacation.  Non-certified employees employed for twelve months, and have completed ten consecutive years of service, shall be entitled to fifteen (15) days paid vacation. 

Any unused vacation at the end of the school year will roll over into PTO.

Vacation shall be scheduled in compliance with the Superintendent's guidelines and is subject to Superintendent approval.

NOTE: Exempt employees are exempt from overtime.  Non-exempt employees are entitled to overtime.
